In early 2019, a beacon of hope was ignited with the establishment of the Noor Foundation, a testament to the power of collective compassion and dedication towards making a substantial difference in the lives of the most vulnerable. Founded on the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to lead a dignified life, the Noor Foundation has been unwavering in its commitment to empower women from marginalized communities, educate underprivileged children, and support families living below the poverty line.

Fueled by the generosity and support of our founder, friends, family, and the local community, the Noor Foundation has successfully mobilized over US$100,000 to fund various transformative projects. Our efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic provided essential ration bags to over 500 families, ensuring their sustenance through two months of uncertainty and hardship. Recognizing the importance of sustainable livelihoods, we established a sewing center, offering women the tools and training necessary to forge a path towards financial independence. Furthering our mission, we opened a shelter, providing marginalized women with a safe haven and a stepping stone to a brighter future.

Education lies at the heart of our foundation's objectives. By constructing classrooms, supplying furniture, and installing clean drinking water facilities in three schools, we have laid the groundwork for a brighter future for countless children. Our ongoing support includes the provision of uniforms, winter clothing, textbooks, and stationery, demonstrating our commitment to nurturing the minds of the next generation. Additionally, our sustained monthly support for over twenty families underscores our dedication to alleviating the burdens faced by those living in poverty.

Meet the founder
Growing up, values of compassion, inclusivity, and helping others shaped my worldview. My travels across 40+ countries exposed me to diverse societies and their challenges, feeling my passion for positive change. I founded the ‘Noor Foundation,’ a charity to empower women by making them self-sufficient and educate underprivileged children, transforming lives through education and vocational training. I believe in hands-on change, the power of collective effort, and the lasting impact of small acts of kindness.
